Frequently Asked Questions
SHOULD I GET SHOCKS OR STRUTS FOR MY FORD RANGER? WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
It is not a question of choice, it is a question of what suspension setup is on the vehicle.
Shocks and Struts are different types of dampers (shock absorber) used in the suspension setup of the vehicle and can only be replaced with the same type.
HOW MUCH DO FORD RANGER SHOCK ABSORBERS COST?
The most cost effective option starts at $290/pair whilst our premium products featuring damping adjustment can be up to $1182/pair. Pricing is dependent on the model variant, setup selections and brand of shocks.
To find pricing specific to your vehicle, simply use the search function on our website to view all available options and kit cost.
As we are online only, all pricing shown is for parts only and does not include fitment.
HOW TO CHANGE SHOCKS ON A FORD RANGER?
Installing suspension parts should always be completed by a qualified person or at a licensed workshop.
If you choose to install shocks yourself we strongly recommend taking the vehicle to a suspension workshop for a check-over. Most workshops offer free or inexpensive inspections. Better to be safe than sorry!
